Default Switching from OCZ Vertex to new Sandforce

Is it worth Switching from OCZ Vertex to to the new OCZ Vertex Sandforce SSDs? I am using 2 Vertex 30gb in RAID0 mode for my OS.

I'd wait it out for the new SSDs coming in the next few months.

The difference is there, but not massive. I concur with the others... Wait a while and save up some cash for Something wicked... Personally I'm waiting for a somewhat reasonably priced PCIE SSD with trim to appear in the market.

I think DryJesus was making a joke. There is always new tech in the works.

As for the OP's question, I recently went from an OCZ Vertex 60gb (Indilinx) to a Patriot Inferno 100gb (Sandforce), due to my overuse of the Vertex and killing my remaining write cycles. I did notice a bit of a speedup in boot time, but don't notice it in other usage. If you are looking at going to a single drive from the Raid 0 config, I wouldn't bother right now unless your drives are nearing the end of their life.
