setting up 3 Drives for faster Photo/Video editing

I have the following setup of my hard drives but will like to optimize the arrangement for a faster workflow on PS5 and LR3.

Drive 1 (1TB): - Windows 7 64bit OS
- My Pictures Folder with all my digital files
- Adobe PS5 and LR3 installation

Drive 2 (1TB) - 50 G Partition for Page File
- 850 G Partition for Scratch File for PS5 and LR3
- Data and other utilities installation files.

Drive 3 500G - not installed (spare.

My questions are as follows:
- Is there a problem with having the page file and the PS5 scratch file on the same drive ?
- Will I benefit from getting an SSD just for the OS ?
- Is there a better way to utilize the above drives ?
