Cosmic Rays. I'm serious, sometimes a bit can flip, even on server grade eqiptment and cause random out of the blue crash. Google, IBM, etc have done numerious studies on it.

Or it could of been gremlins, or a voltage drop from your power utlity or an actual hardware issue. Basicly all I am saying is if it was a one time occurance, don't sweat it, if it reoccures, thats when I would start asking questions.
