Default Want: A Chart Describing Current SSDs

I've been thinking about this for a long time, and perhaps this belongs in the "Suggestions" area, but: I would like it if HWC and it's experience SSD users could collaborate to create a chart of SSDs. This chart would hopefully looking something like this:

SSD Name --- Brand --- Size --- Controller --- MB/s Read --- MB/s Write --- TRIM --- Raid w/ TRIM

... I'm probably missing several things there, but the point is that one convienient chart like this would help less-experienced SSD users such as myself to understand the differences in speed, price, controller, performance and raid use. Currently, if I want to buy an SSD there are just simply too many options to research them all, and many of them seem "broken" in one way or another (I.E. Trim support does not work on AMD chipsets OR Trim + Raid does no function). Knowing which SSDs could be used in those examples would be a great benefit as well.

What do you all think?

Perhaps its not a good idea? I won't know unless people offer some feedback on the idea

If it was so easy to do then I'd do it myself. Unfortunately I still dont have alot of experience with SSDs. Two WD Blacks of 7200.12s in Raid-0 is still more than enough for most of my customers and myself as well. The only SSD ive used is in my laptop so far, lol.

Edit:
If the reviewers wouldnt mind forwarding me the raw data and specs for SSDs they've reviewed then I wouldnt mind creating the chart myself

partly done :

PC Perspective - SSD Decoder Ring - an SSD comparison guide (Rev 3.0)

and RAID = no TRIM for now.

EDIT = Altough garbage collecting is supported on certain products.

Looks like Someone's site has already got something useful, just not this site.

TBH i dont know what trim and garbage collection are. But until i can buy a few SSDs and raid them without having to worry about such nonsense, ill stick to real hard drives.

'Tis not just for moi! Something like this would probably help all the newer members that ask questions about SSDs (there have been several threads in the past few days alone). Thanks though!
