My System Specs

Default SSD's and network drives

Hi there, i have a couple of SSD with WIndows 7 on it. The problem is that it's booting up so fast that the DHCP don't even have time to acquire, so each time i have a Popup saying that the Network drive is not connected, but it do like 4 sec after.

Is there a way to boost the connection delay at bootup at least to a couple of seconds?

As long as you ticked the "Reconnect at logon" box, it shouldn't really matter. Other than the annoying popup in the system tray, the drive is still there an mapped. As soon as you attempt to access it, it'll become active.

Manually set your IP address and settings, and make sure to reserve the IP you manually set either outside the dhcp range you've set your router to, or reserve the address to your adapters MAC.

Simplest solution in my mind.

yeah if you don't make it dynamic, there's no searching and assigning. otherwise I think you're just going to have to suffer.
