Give it time, and it will guesstimate your drive's lifetime based on usage... but at least it shows the Health % based on the S.M.A.R.T data.

Does the health readings stay accurate after a firmware update? Or is that impossible?

Damn... I almost got excited about this.... (for reasons other than checking health)

I thought maybe we finally had an app which would actually do a physical test to ensure that trim was working. Reading this though looks like it's probably just the old standard "yes the drive can do trim, and yes trim is turned on in the OS" not "yes the trim command is making it through to the drive".

Reading through the OCZ forum thread, some formware updates do reset the readings.

Did yours ever spit out an estimated life left, or did it stay on "calculating"?

That same thread mentions it can take a few days of usage until a guesstimate pops up. Started mine this afternoon, and it still shows "calculating".

What I'm surprised about are the read / writes amounts done on the drive in 1 year...

hrmmm... I'll have to see if it runs on my 40G -V intel........

My Kingston 40Gb is recognized.

It works on my Kingston 128GB V+ but on mine it doesn't show the throughput like it does on your screenshot.

What reading are you looking at? I'm not seeing anything on his screenie for throughput......

edit: NVM... I can see where it says throughput... did you try the refresh at the bottom?
