Default SSD Question

So my question which is a better overall solution.

Multiple Value edition SSD's in Raid 5 (no Trim)
One SSD with TRIM

The reason i ask is i am worried i am putting my SSD array into an early grave as they are currently raided. And since i don't see Intel support TRIM in a RAID 5 Array anytime soon i feel is a legitimate Question.

Currently i run 5 40GB Intel SSD's in a Raid 5 array on an ICH10 controller. I would be looking at replacing the 5 ssd's with one 80GB Intel SSD (or another brand that has similar performance, Price, Reliability).

Or am i just being paranoid.
