OWC 40gb SSD
 

Has anyone tried these SSDs?

OWC Mercury Extreme Pro Solid State Drive (SSD) Solutions - High Performance, Reliability, and Endurance

I want to get 2 40gb and raid 0 them for boot drive and 2 game. For the performance the price seems cheap.

never tired myself but have heard good things about owc and from what i can see there just new sandforce ssd in a different sticker. justmy2cents :thumb:

as long as the co doesnt go up and you got no warranty?

from what i see theyre ok. value drive wise.

Should I just get 2 of these to play it same ?

i usually stick with solid co's. but then again look at bfg. you never know. go for whats best for buck right now.

The OWC drives should perform better. Don't assume that the company is going under based on dangtx's nonsensical ramblings; I don't know of any reason to believe that will happen and I doubt that he does either.

Well you never know with new companies. . I was leaning for the OWC. Might as well take a chance. They look fast for RAID 0.

there not new there just new to ssd market . other world computing since 1998 not new at all. and there just reselling sandforce based ssd :thumb:
