Get SSD or wait for Q4

OFC the new ones won't be cheap but they will push the pricing down on the existing lot. New drives seem to have emphasis on storage, besides they're already ridiculously fast.

Just got an email from NCIX, with the OCZ Vertex 2 Extended 60GB for $99.99 after $20 MIR Door Crasher special (August 28th grand opening at Markham), really ridiculous price for such a new SSD. I really want this, not sure if I can make it at 9:30 AM though (and there will probably be a line too...). The cheapest I found this SSD was for $140 after the $20 MIR which is still a great price for it, but $100 is just wonderful.
I hope they'll have something of the sort online, otherwise I'll wait for the prices of these sandforce SSDs to drop in Q4.

I went to the NCIX grand opening sale at 5am and waited in line, got my 2 OCZ 60GB Extended Vertex 2 SSDs . Finally. Decided against RAID0'ing them because of apparent TRIM issues and stability issues with overclocked CPUs (i5@4ghz). So I gave one to my brother, he wanted one too, especially at the price.
(In other news, an Auzentech X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema card and a Carcharias. I got it because it's one of the top tier SSD drives (Excluding PCI-E SSDs) and it's at such a ridiculous price ($100 for the 60GB Version, $1.6/gb).
