Keep an eye on the BST. I believe there's a 80gb Intel there now. Others will come up if you care to go more than 1 for anything else. I purchased a Kingston V+ 256 which is currently my OS drive. I'm seriously considering another like a 120gb Vertex 2 for my OS, freeing up the larger for games and such. I have the VRaptor drives which used to be my OS and gaming drives. The difference in performance was simply amazing.
I'm sure you'll be pleased with making that change.

Well I just set up two systems at work that had the Vertex 2 120GB and all I have to say is wow. Really that drive just smokes. I was getting 75MB/s on the 4k and right about 130ish on seq and 512k.

It is not a cheap drive, but damn if you want performance it is very hard to beat.

I should mention for those with a large steam library that if they dont need to load games instantly its easy to set up a system link of the directory to an external or an hdd. Makes life alot easier

I got a OCZ Vertex 30GB. It's great for a OS-only boot drive + Starcraft 2.

Still has 5GB free lol.

SSD ftw
