Default New SSD for my system

Was thinking of buying this to give my system a nice boost,My hard drive is the major bottleneck of my system atm.

is there noticeably a difference in speed? I have read a bit about them but it is all paper or web browser stuff people saying it is faster but is noticeably faster?
I would imagine that a person using an ssd drive would just have the Operating system on it and nothing else for speed?

I have Win7 and all my applications on it and it still have 13GB left. No complaints and it the best upgrade I did on my PC.

compared to what if you compared it to another ssd then it good compared to a hdd it's night and day. most ssd that run between 150mb/s to 250 mb/s there's not a huge difference at all. jm2cents cause that's all there is
