My System Specs

Default Looking for DVD Cases

Heya,

I just bough 2x 100 pack Blank DVDs and I hate to use those skinny sleeves to keep my DVDs in. I wanted to buy empty cases to put them in and build a "small" collection of Documentaries, Games, etc etc...

Looking for something like this: DVD 9MM SLIM (1-Disc) Single Disc Black Case with Clips and Sleeve - DVD 9mm Black - DVD/Blu-Ray Cases - Blank Media

Or : BLU-RAY 12MM Clear Blue colour Single Case With Clips and Sleeve 100pack - Blu-Ray/HD-DVD Cases - DVD/Blu-Ray Cases - Blank Media

Do you guys know if NCIX sells something like this? I have a pretty big order coming and was thinking in including these in there as well.

Thanks.

I faced this problem as well and tried the case approach. Some advice may save you money and frustration.

Don't take this route. It's a PITA.

I went with one of those large aluminum 1000 disc holders instead.

Much easier to transport and organize.

You have a link for those? Is it easy to find a a DVD on that pile?

I just wanted a really nicely organized DVD collection. My 4TB of hard drives are always going to be full anyway, and I find myself deleting things I'd like to keep for the future.

:: blankmedia.ca :: product listing by subcategory :: 1 case 14mm (std)

Have a look there.

"Please note we do not currently have a store front. Picking up of orders are available but MUST be placed on the website first. Simply select "pickup" as the payment method.
We have a pickup location at 30 Nine Pines Rd in Kitchener, Ontario and also at 1 Head St in Dundas, Ontario."

I'm in BC so I used these guys for a pricematch at eglobal because shipping to BC was a real killer, I ended up getting 2x 100pc boxes double sided cases, I think it was $14 a 100pc carton.

Very nice, I don't think NCIX has those though. Would be nice to order everything at the same time

I saw this earlier: http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=20869&vpn=95094&manufacture=VERBATIM

Google around for cd/dvd clamshells and get a cd tower rack for them.
Clamshells are durable and dont take up much space compared to actual cases.

Yeah I considered that, but I don't like the slim ones. Too damn small, in a stack of 100 for example, to find the one you want could be quite annoying since you can't read the label from the side.
