Default Do SATA DVD drives........

Do SATA DVD writers need an audio cable? I bought a Samsung SH-S203N Black SATA DVD+RW 20X8X16 DVD-RW 20X6X16 DL18X/12X Lightscribe DVD Writer OEM W/ SW from DC.

It did not come with any cables. I used a SATA cable that came with my motherboard and a power cable. There were no other ports. Don't I need an audio cable?

Audio cables haven't been needed on SATA or IDE drives since Windows ME.
