ok so here's my question. once i finish paying (i am paying for it) for my file server. I am going to want to do an update on my current rig. I don't think i need a really big overhaul as it's still fairly current and seems to be chugging along just fine. I was thinking about doing the following.
Getting 1 or 2 40-60GB SSD's and doing a raid 0. I think this will be the best bang for my buck upgrade. At the same time i will also be making my windows 7 install a little more legit than it is right now (technet plus baby

). on that front i was thinking that windows 7 professional is probably sufficient i don't think i will be needing the ultimate edition. As for SSD's what are some suggestions on brands. or would it be cheaper or better to go with a single 80GB intel G2 vs 2 40 or 60 in raid 0. i will also be installing a 329 and 250gb sata i have lying around.
Current rig specs.
Intel E8400 3.0Ghz Wolfdale
Asus P5Q Pro
8GB G.skill PC-2 6400 DDRII
320GB Seagate Sata II
XFX HD Radeon 4890 1GB GDDR5
Corsair TX550W PSU (i have a 750 HX if need be.)
LG DVDRW (might upgrade to blu-ray)
Antec P182 Case (i am also thinking about changing this out for a 3 or 4u rackmount case.)
any tips, links, product suggestions are greatly appreciated as i have kinda slipped in the SSD area of storage.
