I learn so much from your reviews thank you. So would SSD-OS Black- work drive this Green-storage be a best of set up.

Indeed. Oh and your graph for the Crystal DiskMark Read tests is showing the WD Black 640gb highlighted and doesn't have the WD Green 2TB results in it. ;)

I didn't think this con was fair: - Slow compared to 2TB Black

Its not trying to be as fast as black, they are different product lines.

Just an FYI the specs you have listed on page two aren't for correct drive. The specs you have shown are for the newer WD20EARS. These are the specs of the drive you reviewed.

Yeah I was confused by that to and I thought the drives with 34 mb cache were near EOL and being replaced with 64 mb cache and 4KB sectors but none to less these are great storage drives, got a couple the last few months.

There are already Green and Black Editions of this drive. We have reviewed both.
