Default Seagate 7200.12 1Tb in Vantec non fan enclosure? Good or bad?

Was wondering having the Seagate 7200.12 1TB in a Vantec non fan enclosure a good or bad idea? I dont think they run to hot seeing the reviews.

If you plan on using the enclosure only for brief periods of time, it'll be fine. If you want to have it on all the time or for extended time periods, you should use an actively-cooled enclosure.

Good idea well i do not want a fan one because i like the noiseless operation but i wont be using it for long periods of time just 3-5 hours max.

Or you can use that. I found it pretty great if you have ton's of disk laying on the desk.

Honestly have just 1 cause the other one will be in the Antec Mx-1 next to the tele that running most of the time. So id rather not buy another external enclosure if i do not need it. But i did look at that i liked it but i prefer not having my hard drives exposed - got to many little cousins.
