I just ordered a OCZ Vertex 60G..so LETS hope that doesn't disappoint for my 1st SSD..

if its your first ssd then i'm fairly sure it doesn't really matter what one you get, you'll be amazed by the difference form hdd. :)

I have my doubts it will. Damn near any SSD besides the Jmicron JM602-based SSDs will perform great.

Honestly, you cant go wrong with the Indilinx SSDs. If you dont want to raid and just want a one SSD solution you cant go wrong with any of them.

IMHO Best value SSDs out there are the Agility line from OCZ. Drop 1.4.1 on it and you got a kick ass SSD ( I have a soft spot for OCZ as they have the BEST firmware support out there). IF I was on a tight budget and didnt want to raid (if I was raiding SSDNow V 40gb x 2 for 2 bills is hard to beat) the 60GB Agility is what I would reach for.
