Sorry for a late reply...I was out of the country for a few days.
The SSDNow V 40GB has ITGC built into its firmware. It basically is running the next to newest fw of the X25-M gen 2. Only thing it doesnt do right now is TRIM. Everything is else is for all intents and purposes the same ;)

Is there any application I can run to see the list of features available? I believe you when you say it supports it but I still don't know how I can verify it. There seems to be next to no discussions regarding the Kingston ssd.

There is no program that I know of which will show ITGC. You can run Crystal DiskInfo to see if a SSD supports TRIM, but not ITGC.
IIRC (and I may be wrong) Intel has always had ITGC (or a variant thereof). We will have a review of it soon. As you will see it literally is a X-25M Gen 2....just with only 5 NAND chips on the board ;)

you just install if your using w7, only when your using xp u must align it first
