I don't know where to begin
1. I never said with using trim just an ssd and basic windows tweaks. works fine no matter what ssd was my point
2. TTrim did not kill any data on my drive neither did hyperfaast when i used it. it just not worth it in my opinion
3. yes every MFG can screw up there firmware that's luck of the draw but you got better luck with ocz firmware then most others.

Still don't know what to get conclusively??>>

SAS 147G proven HDD and SAS controller for almost same cost as a 60G SSD.no firmware issues-stuttering..~3.5ms--- I know I'll prob get flamed, but is the OCZ SSD ready for market on desktop's??

I've read a 100 Vertex reviews, but is this real-life or marketing...

Here's what I need from my HDD for graphics-> reliable-fast-endurance.. some of my apps can take time to render (Maya or 3D StudioMax)

Any SSD will be faster then my VRaptor 150G (which I was kinda disappointed in being 3rd gen, after having 74G and XRaptors prev...IMO)

I have the $$ for either SAS or SSD..just want best speed-bang for the $$ that's reliable and fast!

FINALLY got to put my X25-m in.

ZIPPY I think is the correct terminology for the speed boost it gives you.

Something about entering my password, hitting enter and seeing the desktop with all my gadgets, msn logged in, and all my startups complete is pritty frigging ZIPPY.

Yum. I'm sold!
