Install this: *Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager

Put in in advanced mode and you will be able to see that it is in AHCI mode.

BIOS confirms AHCI most defintely....a lot less text flys by in the BIOS Post Screen now as well....AHCI Controller is about the only text I see....really speeds up the BIOS Post.
From the time I hit the Power button to my desktop is about 45 sec...15 sec is due to the infamously slow Post after hitting the power button (Evga X58 Boards)....

Bloody quick all the same!!! I like it!
