SATA-3G HDD with Marvell controller!!!
I installed a Seagate SATA-3G on the Marvell controller. Marvell see this HDD as SATA-1???
I read somewhere that 3G and SATA-2 are suppose to be the same speed. I read that I need a controller that support 3G. Is it at the BIOS level or at the driver level that I should have the proper driver? Or is it the hardward in the controller that make it to support SATA-1 and 2 and 3G?
Where should I look the make it run at 3G instead of SATA-1? |
