So is there any point to running 2x raid 0 (with vertex for example) on an ICH10R ? OR is there no visible difference beyond the first ssd?

There is almost zero increase in performance on programs that don't need high sequential read/writes. And I've spent days testing performance w/ RAID & SSD's.

The ONLY thing where i say gains is copying/pasting files from/to the array.

Here are some of the results.

those are in seconds


Even w/ 4 drives in RAID0, there is no difference in games/photoshop/application launching.

my warps have seen a lot of writes and they have not slowed ( well 1 did i think i used ccleaners wipe tool and it came back to normal) ( i think once you go ssd you never go back. jmo)
HD's are for storage

Yup. Well if you are paying their actual MSRP. It isn't worth that Newegg is charging for them.
