Default SSD as boot drive

Hi guys, im looking for ssd, to be clear, the vertex/falcon/torqx

but im on a budjet, 2x 120gb is not a option for that reason

my actual partion tke 135gb on my hard drive(wd black 640)

so my question is, can i buy an 60gb, install windows and principal thing who need speed on it and instal other program like office on my 640gb?
in fact, i want speed in windows and in gaming

also my board is an ex58-ud5, does the onboard raid controler are good?
does 2x 30gb ssd in raid 0 will be bether? does raid risk is a good compromise for speed?

also, another question for raid 0 on my board, it's possible to do a raid of 3x 30gb (to make 90gb) maybee lather for an upgrade?

Thanks
Phil

i would run 2xssd in raid0 then install all your apps on the 640 hd. and yes your southbridge is ich10r good to go. and to your final question yes you can add a 3rd ssd later that's what i did. ( if it's in your budget go with the vertex 2x30gb then add 1 later.) hope that helps.

i think so i don't think that there's a speed jump until the 120gb. so yes 2x 30gb will be faster( short answer yes)

At the rate of SSD evolution, the Vertex will be a dinosaur by Christmas.
