Default 32 gb patriot warp SSD as boot drive

Would anyone recommend this as a boot drive for vista? I'm thinking of getting it because its $120 at tigerdirect right now

I don't think it would be a realy good idea, for 120 you can get 2 WD 640 caviar black at NCIX this week, get them in Raid and have just a little bit over performance of the patriot, more storage and more long invest. Well that's how I see it. The only 3 SSD wich realy give you more perf for the buck are overprice for now, G.skill Falcon, OCZ vertex and Intel one. For now, WD FTW :)

spend 50 bucks more and get an ocz vertex if your only buying 1. i have 3 warps and love them but hindsight is 20/20 and the vertex is that much better. or wait for a sale at ncix 135 for the vertex. but bang for buck is 2x 640's in raid0 for sure

fair enough! thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll wait for the vertex to drop a bit in price SSD's look a little more "futureproof" than those 640s.
SSDs are fast, plus they are silent! hahaha. I have this thing about silence

Great choice you made my friend ;) Price will surtenly drop about the back to school so get money during summer and get 2 32GB in raid 0 :P

Eventually I want 3 SSD's probably 1x32 gb (boot drive) + 1x 64gb (program drive) + 1x 128gb (games drive)


But thats ALOT of money right now so I'm going to space it out lol. maybe someone will sell of thiers :P
