What about the vertex(or vertex clone) for the moment? and for vertex turbo?

I would still hold on and see what the new X25-M has to offer. It is suppose to be cheaper and faster.

what about the a-data 500 series. Anyone seen any benchmarks on them yet cause there looking pretty good for the bang for buck section if they live up to what they say.

I believe they are the same as the OCZ Agility. Or similar. Cheaper NAND than the Vertex/Falcon/etc but same Indilinx controller.

yes i know but they are saying for the 32 gb adata has read of 230 and write of 150 which is better then the agility i think NCIX.com - Buy OCZ Agility Indilinx 30GB 2.5IN SATA2 Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD - OCZSSD2-1AGT30G In Canada.
and the adata NCIX.com - Buy A-DATA SSD S592 32GB 2.5IN Indilinx SATA2 Solid State Disk Flash Drive *2 Year MFR Warranty* - AS592S-32GM-C In Canada.
this is why i want to see some performance benchmarks of the adata cause if you get'em on sale you can pick up 2 of these up for around 250$

Cool. I'm also eagerly awaiting the results.

I too love Adata products and I'm an SSD freak.

Is the firmware flashable?
