Pioneer and Samsung. Either are great. LG are louder than the rest but are decent. I would stay away from Liteon as their QA is hit or miss.
Asus are just re-badges and you are paying more for a brand name than anything.
I agree that Plextor made drives are the best BUT I would not get the Plextor blu ray burner. Still to expensive for something you do not need. Unfortunately that is about the only Plextor made plextor burner going. All thier DVD burners are re-badges.
