All I've ever bought is Ridata with my pioneer and never had an issue at all.

verbatim and ridata and maxell are HORRIBLE media. Nothing but coasters with them.

I use Memorex. Never a coaster since.

I've burned THOUSANDS of Ridata CD-R without issue.

Hell I have about 500 on my shelf right now.
