And this is why your PC should be contained within your case

Unless of course you have a proper bench table in a safe area (aka not in any door/walk ways).

Hah, what is this, a little kid's flaming thread? The guy says one word that no one likes and you all go nuts about it.

So the hard drives were set down in a bad spot. He thought they were fine. Sounds like they were only taken out of the case temporarily, for whatever reason. Ignorance on cadence's part, perhaps. But. . .

Maybe his mom is ignorant. Do you know her? I don't believe any of us here have any basis or right for so repeatedly judging his use of words. Leave 'im alone.

HE left the hard drives where he knew they could easily knocked down.
HE thought they would be fine. obviously they were not.
HE got mad and said his mother was ignorant because of HIS mistake

and then YOU come in and say maybe his mother is ignorant.

sounds like you and him are two peas in a pod.

Oh, this is great. "Two peas in a pod." and "Wait till you move out."

The hard drives weren't "fine" in that spot because she was paying no attention, and knocked them over. She should be the one watching where she's going, and at the bare minimum, she should have at least picked up what she knocked over.

Oy, I'd love to stay and play with you, but I don't find this to be very interesting. Also, if you really think I live with my parents in Iraq, then perhaps you're the ignorant one. I have a roommate, and sometimes I have a lot of roommates. We tend to respect each other's stuff. Y'know, just to clarify things.

...To have this kind of discussion mere days after applauding the general populace of HWC for being mature, too...

Lol lesson learned, no harm done. I would bet he will not place HDDs in an area that is well-traveled again. First post was probably made in anger/panic as well. I would give mom a break too though, as if she was 'ignorant' of the things she knocked down she was probably afraid to touch them for fear of making the situation worse. Darned for leaving them there, darned for moving them possibly doing further damage.

I'd beat the ever loving shit out of my kids if I ever found out they called their mother ignorant or any other disrespectful names on a PC forum. That shows about as much class as a pile of dogshit.

Everyone needs to stop being dramatic.

His mom should of been looking where she was going, but he also shouldn't of left them in a high traffic area not properly secured. In the end there was no harm done.

As for the maturity? Most members here, esspecially the regulars, are pretty good, though everyone seems to have their moments.
