Default WD black or green, or other colours?

Hey, just wondering which one is better.. black or green. I think i've decided to buy my first WD drive. I've just heard so many things about Seagates failing right now.

I have a WD Green drive in my external enclosure and the thing runs really cool...I had a Seagate in their prior to it and the case was much hotter. the Seagate failed on me as well..but like I said, the WD Green drive barely makes the enclosure warm.

Green = Low power consumption, low noise, lower performance(still pretty dam good thou), low price.
Blue = Average power consumption, moderate/low noise, good performance, average/good price.
Black = Average/Higher power consumption, higher/moderate noise, amazing uber performance, higher/decent price.

Thats the gist of it. I want to make a small note, while the Blacks ARE noisier/higher power consumption than the Blues/Greens, its a negligible difference.

Green isn't good; Green will run between 5400 and 7200 with the average being closer to 5400

I like Green under certain circumstances. Ie. I have Green in an external enclosure using USB so I don't think the spindle speed hurts me as much as the extra heat of a faster drive would.

As an internal, Black rules.
