So I have a system ready for an os, but before I install I was toying with the idea of ordering a solid state drive and installing the os on that, and use my 500gb sata for data ect... So my question is; Will I gain that much performance?? faster boot time ect...? I can get a decent price on an OCZ 32gb solid state, so that would leave room for some other apps and files I'm currently working on. what do we all think? worth while?
Are you talking about OCZ's original Core SSD's? I believe those are using the JMicron controller which are come under fire recently for poor RL performance.
