How much of a difference will a velociraptor make?

That 1-3 seconds in load time is the difference between getting a cherry weapon or not in MP games.

I would recommend purchasing a VelociRaptor. Of course new SSD drives have the lowest seek times, but the VelociRaptor still beats most of them in read and write performance. Not to mention its 5 year warranty versus 1 or 2 years with the SSDs.

Its hard to tell because it’s a whole new computer, but compared to my old one with a single 7.2K drive, it feels pretty amazing.
First LAN game I tried was Sins Solar Empire, with my old and new computers side by side.
At first I though the link failed the old computer took so long to load, but no, I’m just spoiled now.
