Reviewers dont get to play?

hey Gav i got an idea

what if HWC implemented something where say if someone was very helpful then you can give them an extra point or something
kind of like a rating system just no negative ratings...


just an idea because if someone helps someone else out IMO it should be worth more then just posting your opinion (like this post) lol

Neither do Mods.... I guess we mess up the curve.... (Just think how fast your points would mount with all of those page views.... :) ).

vBulletin has a LOT of good addons.

Theres a addon that allows people to point a person based on all sorts of different criteria.. its fun!

We did think of that but it's too open to abuse unfortunately. We will see how the current system goes and maybe add a few new features later on.

I couldn't agree more. I have seen similar systems on other sites and have had to deal with the abuse that it can cause. Better off letting people get used to it the way it is and then if everything is going good implement new features later.

there goes my plan to open 100 accounts and let them accumulate points over time, then transfer them all over a year from now.
