In this case there are plenty of backups. Hence why we are up and running now.

We are however instituting additional failsafes.

For those wondering, I can't comment on today's outage. I'm going to leave any more explanations up to the Admin team. :)

Saw NCIX and HWC both go down at the same time and for the same amount of time very interesting

I did a quick logging of sites when we went down, as I usually do.

NeoGaf, Neowin, Relic Entertainment, Troc-Exchange, NCIX and a number of other Richmond-based sites all went down at the same time.

Possibly a power failure but again, I can't make any certain statements.
