well, Enaberif isn't all wrong. as you can see from this chart HWC is slowly going down in 24hour PPD

A loss of ppd was expected, and we never mentionned that enaberif was wrong... and I don't care. The contest was a success: new Forum members, made the Top 100. If we loose ALL ppd that was added because of the contest, then so be it. We'll be back to our small powerhouse.

But I highly doubt that.

I beg to differ...........

If you ignore the one-time spike of 850K (and the slightly lower 800K) we got on the last two days of the contest you'll see that we are well within the average of 600K - 650K that we leveled out at during the contest.

I agree the 850K was amazing but out of the ordinary our 650k level was pretty much the median during the contest so still having it at that level is great.

And 3.0Charlie it is a success your right were headed to 50 with no roadblocks...ALL ABOARD.

Same for me. It may have been the contest that got me started folding, but I don't have any plans to stop. In fact, I've upgraded my rig and my PPD has gone up almost 250% in the last week.

It's really disheartening to see members complaining about winners etc in these threads. You should all be grown men and know when to keep it shut.

I've been away for a bit but congrats to the winners!

Personally I think this was a great competition, you'd expect things to go down a bit after the prize giving but there will be a few who will stay.

Remember there are going to be other contest that take into account "more continuous" rather than "quick contest" folders.

I agree. I suspect most of us that are newly folding with HWC (or have switched to HWC) will stay as we were already frequent visitors to HWC.
(As far as upgrading, my rig, I'll have to wait a bit.)

I won't lie I've stopped folding for a few days but only to build machines as I've sold a few of mine. I hope to have everything back and running fine so I can fold without having to worry about blowing things up lol!

I'm very cautious with my computer equipment so want to make sure its worked in a bit before giving the computer to much to do (since I had to put on the thermal paste and build everything from scratch rather be safe then sorry). I will be back soon then a few of you better watch out as I want my top 20 spot back!
