LOL! thats interesting....and cool. Well now that the quest for 100 has been fulfilled it is time to start another quest.......for the top 50 folding team! I am going to grab another Nvidia card, probably a 260 core 216 to help attain that goal. Now to run 2 Nvidia video cards on a crossfire board with one dedicated strictly to folding? (using both for folding of course)

Yes. See my sig. I run two GTX 285s in a crossfire board.

However, you must adhere to two rules when mixing two cards in one computer:
1. Do not mix a 8000/9000 series card with a 200 series card (except the GTS 250, which is just a renamed 9000 series card).
2. Beware of the 'shader bug.' This can happen when one card has a different number of shaders than another. More specifically, the card with a lesser number of shaders needs to divide evenly into the card with more shaders. Here is a quote from the following thread: Folding Forum • View topic - Mixing cards (shaders)...Rules?

Quote:
128/112= 1.1428 (not an intger factor)
112/88 = 1.2727 (not an integer factor)
112/56 = 2 (an integer factor)
In the above example, the third shader count (112, and 56) would be desirable. The other two might end up with very low performance.

Mmmm...good point. Looks like I will have to hold out for another 275 or 280.
