There are two contests. One is for Folders who have been with us since before the contest and the other for New Folders. You qualify for the New Folders contest if you fold for 15,000 points between April 14th and May 14th. With your specs, you could probably do that in a couple of days.

Got it and easily achievable. Thanks

I'm glad that I was folding before the contest took place. I'm certainly not judging anyone by any means but I have a bit of pride for the fact that I was already doing it for a good cause..... the contest is just *really* cool on top of that

Now to be totally honest, I became both a member and a folder because I was so intrigued about the IC7 TIM compound.

In my defense I was already cracking keys for distributed.net for about 7 years. I personally thought that SETI was kinda dumb and had never heard (how is it possible I wonder now) of folding@home. The moment I read about it I began turning off my distributed clients and loading up folding instead.

Personally, I think I have more to gain from using my machines to learn about proteins than I do encryption strengths

So when will the actual draws be taking place? Cant wait for my chance to win the 260 since the chances of me winning the 285 are so low lol

The contest ends on May 14th, so you can expect the draws to happen very shortly after.
