Yes, the addon cards only fold.

Unfortunately, very little market I suppose.

2000 shader still going strong

as of now ppd have drop to the 4700 range, as i am also runing boinc

At stock clocks no screech sound, at 2000 shaders i can heard it loud and clear and i sit 1 feet alway from PC
GPU cooled with artic acceralo S2 with 120mm fan, 24hour load temps 59C (maybe if i add another fan it might help)

Any inputs 3.0Charlie? i notice you had an 8800gt with the same cooler and dual fans

At stock clocks 625core, 900mem, 1500shader average 4200PPD. load 24hour load 54C

Thank you for tip

Hmm, it seems like the higher the shader, the louder the screech

Do those GTX 260 series have the screech sound?

Not a problem in fact id underclock my gpu clock and memory to run the card cooler im not sure if that would give you extra room on the shaders? My card used to screech but not anymore im using 185.65 drivers you should really update your drivers i see your using the 178 ones i dont remember when the screetching stopped if it had to do with the drivers or the new projects.

And i can hear a slight screetch i have to actually listen to it it used to be muuchh muuuchh louder lol almost didnt notice it. You got the 2000 without a volt mod?

I managed on getting 750 core / 1900 shader / 2100 mem on my BFG 8800GTOC...... I couldn't get my shaders much higher than that even with everything clocked stock.

Now a different question....

I can't seem to find a screensaver style folding client.... is it possible that these methods would work? Anyone know of a better idea?

How to write a 32bit screen saver

Doing that would slow your ppd so it wouldnt be the best course of action.
