Is it just me, or is gigabyte being a real scrooge asking people to go through the hassle of making videos and other such things for only a mere P45 that for most people is either a side-grade or a down-grade?

How about a X58 Extreme as a reward? That'll make someone go through the work.

This is why I left an option to email us your entries in case they are top secret.

A video is only one of the many ways you can enter. There are a lot of easier options.

QFT!
I haven't used gigabyte since my old P35 DS3L. I'm not crazy about Gigabyte boards, since they were just meh a few years ago. However it is good to see them innovating and working hard to improve their boards.

I won some small prizes from another site's Gigabyte contest recently which consisted of a gaming mouse, 2GB USB flash drive, a toque, some pens, a lanyard, and some post-it notes. The packing list on the box listed the contents as a GA-EX58-UD4P motherboard. That's just cruel

Or Maybe HWC members have just been too spoiled with the "click it and win it" contests

Also, offering an X58 would be nice... but then a person would be forced to purchase nearly $500 worth of new parts for the upgrade. I know I wouldn't even bother to enter if the prize was something that required me to spend more in order to even use it....
This board is definitely one of the better overclockers on the market - and I would say an upgrade from even most X48 board. The estimated value on it, is the exact same as one of Gigabytes X58 boards so really this is a far better option. Price and Performance wise it is the creme de la creme of LGA775 and for most requires no extra investment to use.

The idea behind the contest is that it puts the outcome almost entirely within your control. you have the power!

Here's my shot. Response to the YouTube is done as well. I don't know why the whole HD thing never showed up considering I put it the proper resolution for it. (Or at least I'm 95% sure I did.) Laugh as much as you want
