For a shirt, I like #2 better. It's simple and draws more attention to your site name. Where as in #1, the "Dam Good" slogan is too over-powering, and people won't notice the site name "Hardware Canucks" in tiny font lettering.

Along with the T-Shirts, how about Hardware Canuck thongs? The Beaver logo and the "Dam Good" slogan would be more fitting.
