4xxx performance preview

Well it seems that there are a lot of rumors about this precious inforamtion. Here is a link to some informations:

the text is in french but it goes about like this:

- HD4870 GDDR5 = 30% faster than HD4850 GDDR3

- HD4850 = 25%faster than 9800GT wich is about the same thing as the 8800GT

- HD4870 = 25% faster than 9800GTX

They are all speculations right now. Same thing happend for 2800 series.

Personally I hope its about 50% faster than a 9800GTX so it will crap up NVIDIAS pricing scheme for their new high end cards.

They seem to be priced now at 450 for the GTX 260 and 650 for the GTX 280.

Also some rumors say the current NVIDIA lineup priceing wont change despite ATI's new lineup gatecrashing at the 350 mark.

There sure are a lot of conflicting benchmarks out there now for all the new cards.

ATI has gone over the deep end. If the NDA is up, my review won't be since I received the damn cards YESTERDAY and haven't received any email saying anything about pushing forward the NDA and neither has quite a few other reviewers I have talked to today. Talk about botching a launch...

Now I get to take my sweet time with this review instead of pushing it out like an oversized turd.
