What do you guys think? If any of this is credible it looks like the Titan will have some competition soon...

I thought they were skipping 8 and leaving that for mobile/oem, while going straight to 9. Much like the GTX 300 series.

It looks like it's a rebadge of 7xxx series to please OEM. I think AMD could gain another 5 - 10% gain on Radeon 7xxx hardware if they could improve driver.

The can rework the PCB to make a better card and relase it as HD8000. I hope they do so Nvidia doesn't have the monopoly to itself.

I don't know if the source is credible but time will tell.

The 8870 and the 8950 look very similar to each other. I am not sure if these are accurate. They have all most same spec, +100 on the core, +1000 on the memory and 2GB more of memory. From what I have read the flagship cards are called Venus and there bring back the old XTX HD, XT, and HD Pro branding.

This chart looks as close as we are going to get till they release them.

Oland is not a next gen part part. At least it better not be since it is based on current architecture.

Oland is FAR lower end than 8850... Think 8570 or 8450. And yes it is GCN 1.0. The source is entirely wrong...

I'd like to see what the numbers for the 8970 are. But if ther rumers are true about a 35% boost over the 7970 then i might think Nvidia might be in trouble. i do hope they fix the Xfire suttering issues.

I would love to see AMD get a 35% boost. That would be so awesome for consumers. Right now if you want ultra high end...its NV (titan). Want high end...its NV(780). Its only midgrade that you see competition (770 vs GHz edition) This is not a good thing. :(

35%? I think they've got more than that in the works
