You are missing the point, if a GTX680 was flashed to GTX770 speeds it would have identical performance, it would run the same. All this BIOS flash does is change clock speeds, nothing else.

A Chinese review said the GTX780 was 5-8% slower then Titan and around 25% faster then a GTX680

That would almost justify the $800~ price seen earlier..
I think if it's really that close to a titan in performance then there will be some very unhappy people who Jumped on it.

P.S, on the 770.. Stop saying "It's just a flashed 680", unless you have some sort of solid proof please make a speculation and leave it at that. It really doesn't do anyone anything to argue about stuff we don't know about yet.

the leaked review says a 780 averages 27% better than a 680 and ~8% under a titan and will start @ $650

It's just a flashed 680

But seriously, it's the "same" GK104 with different clockspeeds. Any other differences are consequential, different cooler or PCB or what have you, it's still a 680 chip with different clocks

I am so ecstatic seeing that the price is $659.99 for Superclocked with ACX cooler. Woohoo! Now time to resurrect my rig.

Was hoping for 599 but still ended up buying one lol.

EVGA's custom solution might cool a bit better, but the stock cooler for the 780 looks much better and has much more premium feel to it (especially compared to last gen flagships).

It will annoy me IF the 770 is nothing but a slightly OC'ed 680 but I am willing to keep an open mind UNTIL it lands. Until then its just page whoring.

As for the BIOS...rofl if anyone actually fell for that...I hope they bricked their card AND are denied RMA as that was such as stupid hoax.
So, you annoyed now? The "I told ya so!" moment has come

I wouldn't call 770 a rebadgeed 680, it's more like an updated 680 as it does have GPU Boost 2.0. From what I understand, there are both software and hardware component to GPU Boost.
