If there is a graphics card to review, we'll have the review up come launch. I am just catching up after a 16 day vacation in Europe.

Good answer. And damn 16 days in Europe, that must have been nice!

Default NOT the GTX 780 price?

Although this search was kind of interesting, I do NOT think that this is really the GTX 780 price. Soon we will know.
P.S. the GTX 780 search at NCIX does not work amymore. That was fast.

I am shocked at the price. Everyone has been speculating that it will be around $600 and now it's gone up to that price. It looks like it's time that I consider investing in a single GTX 690. I hope for the sake of us that the price is not that high!

What would you call a GTX680 clocked at GTX770 speeds? Are they any different? Of course, those mem speeds probably mean they are using higher spec'd chips, but some 680's would be capable of that. I would think that a GTX680 running at those speeds IS a GTX770 as far as anything is concerned, besides maybe a different cooler and sliiiiightly different PCB.

They are different with respect to power (TPD) and clocks. The higher 250 W TPD in this GTX 770 allows for more OC headroom when compared to the 195 W TPD for GTX 680. The only downside for the GTX 770 is that it will come with a 2GB vRAM and you'd think that Nvidia would have made either 3GB or 4GB the standard.

But a 680 with the clocks in that BIOS (working operationally, of course) would perform identical to a 770.

I guess we have to wait and see. So far no one has been able to obtain the bios of that card, GTX 770 and flash it to GTX 680. Once someone does that then we can make the comparison. On the other hand, benchmarks circulating on the net show that the GTX 770 to be 10% faster.
