Depends if they release as a new line-up or as an extension of the current one

Question I have is why not release it earlier?
It's immensely powerful and would have no competition from any other card.. A 590/6990 maybe but your going down dual gpu's again.
I can't understand why you would hold it back when they could have slotted it nicely and maybe a SLIGHTLY cut down version between the 680 and 690.

Granted the market for a card above a 680 is a bit more limited and covered by sli of lower cards but it would have been theirs alone on single GPU's.

Heh, well if they do release I'll start saving now :)

Would be nice to own something that powerful,

According to that article (can we believe it) they are expecting info at the end of Feb about 7xx line / Titan.. hmmmm.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did release it as a new line (if it's all true, or even partly) though it is less than a year since the 680 was released :(

Maybe Nvidia will start a mortgage program so you can afford their new cards. Spread the payments over a few years, make the interest variable.

I think that sucks! over the years, you should have improvement in performance for the same price as the previous year,it's progress!!!And now for the same range of cards, they are all more expensive!

I would have enjoyed if they said: here is our new 780,it's 20% faster than the old one and it costs 600$,period.Nvidia,be logical!

Was the same for 560 and 660ti,for example, should have been the same price. but the 660 ti was 70 euros more.

There are tooo many rumors found on line regarding the 700 series GTX,and,or the Titan. I just read an article saying the Nvidia 700 series AND the Radeon 8000 series, will not see the shelves until Q4 at least. Who really knows what the hell is going to happen. I was really looking forward to having the Titan,no matter the cost.

Thats not true at all Bliz. Perhaps do some research before making bold claims.
I spent $575 + tax for my 580. The 660TI beats it, and costs $300 (248 if you get a PNY).
That, is progress.

I did : launch price of a 560ti = 280 euros, and quite all the 660ti were 350 euros when launched. What i mean is that it is the direct next level card and it costs more than the previous gen model, for more performance, but it should cost the same for more performance.

I compared the X60 models of nvidia.

Btw for my last comparison i was talking in euros.

What i say is that i don't like that the price is rising for the same "class" of card in the series...

Example,you want a 200-220 euros card,you can't,you had to pay 350 euros for a 660ti or 160 for a 650ti.You see the problem?

I think the prices are different, even today, the ASUS and MSI 660ti is 354 euros in most sites, and the zotac is 360,only the gainward is less expensive..
