if you adjust for inflation gpu's are getting cheaper. The past couple series have actually been the cheapest that I know of. Anybody remember(I hope you do it wasn't that long ago) the GTX 8800 Ultra? That was expensive.

^^^ The two models were called 8800GTX or 8800Ultra....the Ultra was so expensive I went with the 8800GTX....played Crysis on it!!
