What gets me is that the reviewers on this site probably already have the specs (announced to Industry on December 5th) and because of NDA are staying mum about it.

I am still waiting for the specs of the 7990(or whatever AMD decides to name it) which will be the successor to my 5970.. I have no Idea why I want another dual chip card, But I want one.....

Hmm, I wonder if I'll be gaming on a new 7970 before my birthday in March. I wonder, i wonder. .


Seriously though, I know that the new cards will be a definate step up in the graphics department, I just hope that the new AMD architecture is better at folding than the previous generation. It would be nice to get 10k+/day from my video card alone, kinda like what the Nvidia boys are doing.

They should hopefully be good improvements as they are ground up designs on a new Fab process.
I got my hopes that this round of AMD is better than the last both in performance and Drivers.
