If I am reading this right, $250 for the UD3 isn't too bad.

plus $600 to overclock a CPU...

Soullessone21 November 9, 2011 04:38 PM

no but realize those are costs direct from The supplier so add another 1-5% for consumer

You can overclock any LGA2011 CPU supposedly. But only 50% or 66% from the sounds of it. But CPU's are still really expensive.

Soullessone21 November 9, 2011 04:55 PM

Once intel sends me price and eta on the CPU's I will post asap

keto November 9, 2011 04:59 PM

Meh, we already know within a few bucks. $999 // $600 // $3XX for a locked one that can only be overclocked old skool front side bus ways. I admit, the mobos are a bit cheaper than I thought they would be...of course, they're still not cheap.

draemn November 9, 2011 06:39 PM

I pretty much expected mobos to be old X58 + $20-30 prices for the extra couple features. Was hoping otherwise, but hey, this is an 'enthusiast' line after all (wonder if the quad core locked chip will beat the 2600 by any amount?).

Arinoth November 9, 2011 07:37 PM

Guess we'll have to wait and see what the reviews have to say whenever the chips are officially released (NDA expires)

Soullessone21 November 14, 2011 08:31 AM

Hellz ya I was right even on the date of launch :P

More intel/Nvidia Info to come in the coming weeks :P
