Default Intel Holiday RE Deal 2011!

Welp, their page has been updated to at least show the date it will go on sale: Nov 30, 2011.

I'll update this thread once it goes up.

I honestly think its going to be the one or the other. Remember the 2700k is coming out to replace the 2600k, I could see Intel use this as a way to flush out old stock. They could also just clear out 970s and 980s as with 2011 around the bend, they may figure 1366 will be dead as thats whats suppose to be replacing it.

AMD's offerings have usually be a bit crap. Intel blows them out of the water. Sadly/lucky for me I'm out of the retail industry at last so I'm out of this too.

RE = Retail Edge program exclusive to employees of Intel resellers.

(And their incredibly grateful online mates :D)

I wish I knew someone who worked at an eligible store. I wouldn't mind getting a core i7 970.

i hope they have the 3930k *fingers crossed*
3960x is probably out of the picture

although back in 2008, intel did offer the qx6700 and qx6850 while they were still relatively high priced in the consumer retail market
