Agreed.
AI right now doesn’t even come close, not by a long shot.
What you see in the media is more like programmed monkey see monkey type stuff,
even those super computer chess programs. Those things do a million times
more operations to get to the same move. They don’t ‘think’ they just process
every combination possible, and add in a few pre-determined ‘human’ moves.
Its not like these programs came up with it all by themselves.

Usually when you see stories about ‘robots’ they are actually remote controlled devices.

It will never happen , for one reason alone......reasoning. A machine will never be capable of that to the extent of even the "stupidest" humans.
