All i will say is AMD 890GX owners like myself might not be left out in the cold as I did read on gigabytes site that my AM3 WILL support AM3+ cpu's ... so i'm a lil curious to see how things pan out. I'm also curious if all the FX chips will be black editions or only 1-2 of them.

Much like Gigabyte, ASUS too has updated their support site with new BIOS revisions for their 990 chipsets, thought their CPU support list shows no sign of the Bulldozer processors. There is still a lot of mixed info on the web so it will be interesting to see if the launch will actually happen in September (2011!).

@evo. for gaming? good choice. for other multithreaded stuff,we'll see ;)
Well, from the current limited info, BD sounds like a multithreading beast, though the single threaded side does not look so promissing, "we'll see ;)"

The wait has pretty much killed my interest on these guys, but if they perform well it might be re-kindled.

After reading AMD's articles and blog posts about TDP and turbo, I'm pretty positive the 125W will have a larger stock turbo, just because it has more TDP headroom to expand into.
